Azul Hojas is a fine blue cheese wrapped in sycamore leaves. Azul hojas comes from Picos de Europa Mountains in the northern Spanish area of Asturias, land with a long of a cheese making tradition and a large variety of artisan cheeses.
The texture is very creamy with an intense, rich and pleasant long-lasting flavor.
Azul Hojas is excellent with Bonvallis Olive Oil Tortas, fresh fruit and bread. fantastic with steaks, sauces, dips and pasta.
Pairs wonderfully with local cider, sweet wines and red wines.
